About Me

Rooted in Community

For nearly two decades, Davis has been home. Supporting local families extends beyond individual consultations and includes community education, parent support groups, workshops, speaking engagements, and partnerships with local providers who share a commitment to helping families thrive.

Hi, I'm Lisa

I know how overwhelming feeding a new baby can feel.

Between advice from friends and family, social media, online searches, and well-meaning healthcare providers, it's easy to feel unsure about what's normal, what's not, and what the "right" thing to do is.

That's why I created Davis Lactation Support—to provide families with personalized guidance, practical solutions, and a trusted source of support during one of the biggest transitions of their lives.

Whether you're preparing for your baby's arrival, navigating the early postpartum weeks, or facing unexpected feeding challenges, my goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way.

Why I Do This Work

For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of supporting mothers, babies, and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and infant feeding.

Throughout my career working in hospitals, pediatric clinics, and healthcare systems, I saw firsthand how many families left appointments with unanswered questions, conflicting advice, and a desire for more personalized support.

While expert guidance is important, what families often need most is time, reassurance, and someone they trust to walk alongside them.

I founded Davis Lactation Support to provide the kind of care I believe every family deserves—compassionate, relationship-centered support that meets parents where they are and honors their unique goals, values, and circumstances.

My Approach

Every family is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to feeding a baby.

My role is not to tell families what they should do. My role is to provide evidence-based information, help families understand their options, and support them in making the decisions that feel right for them.

I believe in care that is:

  • Compassionate and nonjudgmental

  • Evidence-based and practical

  • Personalized to your family's needs

  • Focused on both parent and baby wellbeing

  • Built on trust, connection, and ongoing support

Whether your goals include breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, returning to work, or simply feeling more confident in your feeding plan, I am here to help you navigate the journey with clarity and support.

Rooted in Community

Davis has been home for nearly two decades, and supporting local families is one of the greatest joys of my work.

In addition to working directly with families, I am actively involved in community education and outreach through parent support groups, prenatal workshops, speaking engagements, local events, and collaborations with other perinatal professionals throughout the region.

You may have seen me at a local parenting event, teaching a prenatal class, speaking at a community workshop, or answering feeding questions at a support group.

I believe strong communities help families thrive, and I am honored to be part of a network of professionals dedicated to supporting parents during this important season of life.

A Few Things About Me

When I'm not supporting families, you'll usually find me spending time with family and friends, traveling, skiing, or taking a barre class.

I love living in Davis and appreciate the sense of connection and community that makes this area so special.

Most of all, I feel incredibly grateful to do work that allows me to support families during such a meaningful chapter of their lives.

I'd Be Honored to Support Your Family

Whether you're preparing for your baby's arrival, looking for guidance during the early postpartum weeks, or seeking support as feeding evolves, you don't have to figure it out alone.

My goal is simple: to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you care for and feed your baby.

I would be honored to be part of your journey.
