Visit 1 — Prenatal Preparation
During pregnancy, we’ll prepare for your feeding journey before baby arrives. We’ll discuss your health history, feeding goals, previous experiences, breast pump education, and what to expect during the early postpartum period so you can feel informed, prepared, and confident going into birth and those first few weeks at home.
Visit 2 — Early Postpartum Support
Typically taking place within the first few days after birth in the comfort of your home, this visit focuses on helping you and baby get off to a strong start. We’ll assess latch and feeding, ensure baby is transferring milk effectively, answer your questions, and create a personalized care plan to support feeding and recovery during the first week postpartum.
Visit 3 — Building Confidence & Feeding Success
As feeding continues to evolve, we’ll reassess latch, milk transfer, weight gain, and overall feeding progress while making any needed adjustments to your care plan. This visit often brings reassurance, troubleshooting, and continued guidance as you settle into your new rhythm with baby.
Visit 4 — Feeding Rhythm & Transition Support
This visit focuses on helping you feel comfortable and confident with your feeding routine. We can address pumping, bottle feeding, sleep and feeding patterns, returning to work preparation, or any new questions and concerns that arise as your baby grows.
Visit 5 — Flexible Ongoing Support
Your final visit is intentionally flexible and designed around your family’s unique needs during the first 3 months postpartum. Some families use this visit for return-to-work planning, introducing pumping or bottles, feeding transitions, growth concerns, or simply ongoing reassurance and support as baby develops.

Lisa is our hero. She has worked so hard to support our family, and we are seeing really promising results! We spent countless hours with other specialists and nobody compares to Lisa. Her attention to detail, compassion, patience, and general knowledge cannot be beat. She is also very timely, kind, and understanding! I have never once felt rushed by Lisa, as she seems to keep her schedule flexible and open to be able to accommodate the needs of her clients. When I frantically emailed Lisa on a Sunday night begging for support, she got me in to her office the next day (a holiday, nonetheless!) without issue. Find me an LC who can do this in a hospital setting! They don’t exist :)
Lisa has taught us so much about how to feed our baby, and has worked with our family to find solutions that are specific and feel good to us given our situation. We cannot say enough good things about Lisa. We are forever grateful for her support and 10/10 recommend her to anyone who will listen! She is so worth every second and cent of investment.
